Mu Alpha Theta
Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society
encompassing over 65,000 students in more than 1,600 school.
Requirements for becoming a member include:
At least 93% grade point average overall
Minimum 90% average in mathematics courses
A student must also be in his/her fifth semester of a
college preparatory math course.
Once a member, a student must complete a minimum of fifteen
hours of tutoring in one of the parochial grade schools. Members are also
available to tutor high school students in mathematics.
